Careers CounsellingPRINT THIS ARTICLE
The aim of careers education is to make students aware of the required knowledge, skills and attitudes that will assist students in making informed decisions about school and post-school options.
Students have the opportunity to make individual appointments to discuss possible career pathways in light of their personal attributes and abilities.
Advice is offered on the wide range of options available including courses at TAFE, university and private colleges as well as procedures and expectations for apprenticeships / traineeships or full time employment.
A range of learning experiences and opportunities pertinent to Careers are provided throughout the year for students from years 9-12. These programs and initiatives are outlined in the College newsletter as they become available.
